St. Clement of Alexandria

Cast your burden on the LORD,
and He shall sustain you;
He shall never permit
the righteous to be moved.

For trusting is more than faith.
For when one has believed
that the Son of God is our teacher,
he trusts that his teaching is true.
And as "instruction... makes the mind grow”,
so trust in the Lord makes faith grow.
